Success of the Day: Went out for Mexican food and resisted the cheese!

Mini-goal weight

I'm really glad today that I'm down to 147 (woohoo!!!), but I'm a little worried about meeting my mini-goal of 140 by December 22. I'm using the graph to the right to show what I need to do through December 1 to make that happen. I have 8 days to loose 3 lbs - and one of those days is Thanksgiving and week will be at my parent's house!

I don't know if that's possible or realistic, so I'm a little nervous. The day in CS really set me back quite a bit, but it's good to keep that in mind over the next week. I have to keep up the running, the lifting and definitely the "extra" 200 calories a day. The "extras" that have worked so far are...
  • 20 min on the elliptical BEFORE I ran on a treadmill
  • 30 min Yoga Now core video
  • 30 min dog walk (130 cal) + 10 min Yoga Now AM workout (60 cal)
The SparkPeople videos were a total bust. Ugh. The elliptical and the treadmill at the cardio theater was an AWESOME motivator.

So to pack for my trip to Mom's house, I'm taking some essentials:
  • Yoga Now videos (60 & 200 cal sessions)
  • 10 min Solution Videos (100 & 112 cal sessions)
  • BSB Express workout book & SpeedPac weights
  • Yoga mat
  • Running shoes & lots of socks
  • iPod Shuffle
  • Water bottle
  • Travel Pass for Gold's Gym, even though the nearest one to the rents is 30 minutes away
  • Lap top - for posting and for watching my guilty pleasure videos (Ugly Betty!) while I do the weights
My goals are:
  • Stay on track with the C25K program by running on M, W & F
  • Stay on track with the BSB program by lifting Su, T, R, Sa
  • Keep adding the "extra" 200 cal burn until Dec 1
I've sort of fallen in love with the bulletted list today, which is a sign I may be over organizing. Time to go shower and start packing!!
